Injection Mould Design

          In the mould design process, we use electronic catalogs for standard parts and plates of the following suppliers: MEUSBURGER, HASCO, STRACK, DME.


          The design of the mould assembly provides several key steps:

  1. Choosing the block of plates depending on:

- the geometry of the plastic product,

- the number of cavities,

- injection machine features;

  1. Choosing the injection type:

- with cold runner,

- with heated nozzles,

- with hot runner system manifold blocks;

  1. Design of cooling system - development of cooling channels and adding different standard pieces required for increasing cooling efficiency;
  2. Design of ejecting system - it is very important that the plastic part doesn't get damaged on its way out;
  3. Design of ventilation system - which is necessary for the air and gases inside the cavity to be released for a full injection;
  4. Adding all others standard parts – guiding components, fasteners, sprues, support pillars.


       After the 3D design of the mould assembly, we elaborate 3D assembly drawing which contains necessary information for the increase of mould assembly process efficiency and BOM as well. On customer requirement we elaborate technical drawings of all component parts.
